Hello, I am Maria, designer and maker of bespoke artisan Traditional style Italian bomboniere and favours for Weddings, Baby shower, Christening, First Holy Communion and more.  Traditional in their story, yet creatively designed leading the latest trends. My designs and style for my favours have been inspired by the many Italian weddings and special occasions I've been to since I was a child. I've always created with the style and flair I have as an Italian that comes I guess from my Italian heritage being an English Italian this is carried through from our daily lives to our special occasions. Giving favours or "bomboniere" as they are known in Italy, is a big part of the day and a lot of time and care is spent in choosing them. Italian bomboniere have become more and more popular as wedding favours outside of Italy due to their uniqueness, delicate craftsmanship and beautiful design, making them the perfect choice for any wedding. Favours or Bomboniere are the perfect way to say "thank you" to family and friends for sharing your special occasion. They can be given for different reasons, the most popular being Wedding, Birth, Baptism or First Holy Communion. Favours are also given for Confirmation, Graduation, Wedding Anniversaries and parties.

Traditionally favours contain five sugared almonds which represent: Wealth, Health, Happiness, Fertility, Longevity and  the colours of almonds used are important too. White is mainly used for Wedding, Holy Communion and Confirmation. Pink or blue for baby's Christening or baby shower, emerald green for Engagement, red for Graduation, Gold for 50th Wedding and Silver for 25th Wedding anniversary.
